THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.LAKSHMAN W.P. No.1748 of 2020 ORDER:

The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that he has filed a statutory revision petition No.E3/786/2019 on 23.03.2019 under Section 9 of the Rights in Land and Pattedar Passbooks Act, 1971, with the 2nd respondent, Joint Collector (Urban), and despite receiving and acknowledging the same, the 2nd respondent is not taking up and disposing of the same. Hence, questioning inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent in taking up and disposing of the said revision petition, petitioner filed the present writ petition. On a perusal of the said revision petition, the 2nd respondent received and acknowledged the said revision petition on the very same day i.e. 23.03.2019. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 2nd respondent authority is not taking up and disposing of the said revision petition.

In that view of the same, the 2nd respondent, Joint Collector (Urban), Warangal Urban District, Warangal, is directed to consider and dispose of the Revision Petition No.E3/786/2019 filed on 23.03.2019 by the petitioner in accordance with law, and communicate copy of the said order to the petitioner within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

KL, J W.P. No.1748 of 2020 As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
