On 27-08-2016, Smt. Geetanjali Devi, learned counsel, representing Sri A.Srinivasa Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that she has not received any instructions from the petitioner as to whether the direction given by this Court, by order dated 09-09-2002 in W.P.M.P.No. 7615 of 2001, has been complied with or not by the respondents. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner is not present. Since there is no response from the petitioner, there are no reasons to keep this Writ Petition pending further. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand dismissed in consequence.
