HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7284 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners - Accused Nos.1 and 2 under Sections 437 & 439 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking to grant bail to them in Crime No.1052 of 2015-16 on the file of Prohibition and Excise Narsipatnam Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c ) r/w 20(b) (ii) of the NDPS Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioners and other accused were found in possession of 70 kgs of ganja.

Since the quantity of ganja found in possession of the petitioners is commercial, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought by them.
