SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.26963 of 2003 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) Unsuccessful before the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in O.A.No.1640 of 1993, the applicant therein is before this Court by way of this writ petition. The said O.A. was dismissed by the Tribunal on 24.10.2003. The issue before the Tribunal was with regard to the seniority of the petitioner/applicant visà-vis others in the Irrigation Department working in the Command Area Development Authority on deputation.

It is now stated before us that the petitioner/applicant retired as long back as in the year 2008. In that view of the matter, the issue raised by him before the Tribunal and thereafter by way of this writ petition assumes a purely academic character and accordingly the writ petition does not warrant adjudication on merits. The writ petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
