THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.671 of 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.,"), is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No.648 of 2017 on the file of III Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam.

Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing the matter for awhile, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, the Station House Officer, III Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam, is directed to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of UP (referred supra).

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
