THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1772 OF 2020 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition is filed to declare the inaction of respondents in taking action pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 02.11.2019 with a consequential direction to the respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint which is also stated to have been sent through registered post.

Heard Sri R.R. Kalyan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 03.02.2020, submits that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, a G.D. entry was made and enquiry was done, after enquiry, a case was registered in Crime No.10 of 2020 under Sections 143, 447 read with 149 of IPC of Venkatapuram police station. By the said written instructions, it is further stated that apart from registering the case, the respondent police have provided police protection to the petitioner. Having regard to the above said submission, since the grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition with regard to the inaction of the respondent authority in registering a case, based on his complaint, stands redressed, no further orders need be passed in the matter.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
