The case of the petitioners is that due to typographical mistake, the trial Court case number was wrongly typed as C.C.No.5094 of instead of C.C.No.2094 of and therefore requested to rectify the said mistake crept in the Criminal Petition as well as other connected applications.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel and the facts on record, I.A.No.4 of 2026 is allowed.

Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in this regard by

replacing C.C.No.5094 of with C.C.No.2094 of 2025 wherever it appears in the record.

I.A.No.3 of 2026 (For being mentioned) This application is filed under the caption "For Being Mentioned" seeking modification of the order dated 22.01.2026 passed in Crl.P.No.635 of 2026, by replacing the trial Court case number with "C.C.No.2094 of 2025"

in place of "C.C.No.5094 of 2025".

Pursuant to the orders passed in I.A.No.4 of 2026, the present I.A.No.3 of 2026 stands allowed and the Registry is directed to carry out necessary corrections with regard to change of trial Court case number in the order and issue a fresh copy of the order.
