According to the petitioners, they are the owners of land to an extent of Acs.9.00 in survey No.280 of Maheshwaram Village and Mandal of Ranga Reddy District. Petitioners allege that though the said land is a private patta land, the Wakf Board is claiming the same as Wakf land and they served a letter on the Registering Authority not to register the deeds of alienation or any other transaction in respect of the said property. On 09.01.2018, Tahsildar informed the Revenue Divisional Officer, in response to the representation made by the petitioners, that the petitioners should obtain a clearance from the Wakf Board as Wakf Board claimed the land as belonging to them. The petitioners made a detailed representation to the Wakf Board on 26.10.2018 acknowledged by the Wakf Board on the same date. Alleging in action on the representation made, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.

Under these circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Wakf Board to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
