This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not getting the renewal of the licence from the 3rd respondent for running the petitioner retail outlet situated in Sy.No.892/2, Botlaguduru village. Pamuru Mandal, Prakasam District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioner to continue the sale of oils from the outlets.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned standing counsel for Central Government, Mr.B.Mayur Reddy, learned counsel for the respondents and perused the record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.07.2018 for reallocation of the unit.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.07.2018 according to the regulations within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
