This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, by the petitioners/A.2 to A.4 seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.790 of 2025 of Abdullapurmet Police Station, Rachakonda District. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 118(2), 74, 351(2), 109 r/w.3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNS').

The case of the prosecution is that on 14.11.2025, the complainant reported that his son, Y. Sri Sundar Raghavendra, received a call from his friend Ms. Aishwarya Mudiraj, stating she was being harassed at Aara Crescent Resorts, Koheda Village, Ranga Reddy District by a group of people. Raghavendra and his friend Varaprasad (Benny) rushed to help her and found her being harassed by Shree Prabha, Venkat Naidu, Ram (Funky Zone Clothing), Abhi Prabha, and six others. When they intervened, the accused attacked them with flower pots, stones, knives, and iron rods. Raghavendra suffered fractures and head injuries, Varaprasad sustained bleeding injuries, and Ms. Aishwarya was assaulted, her ankle was fractured, and also they outraged her modesty. The victims were also threatened. Raghavendra was treated at Sunrise Hospital and later shifted to Himalaya Hospital. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against the accused for the above offences. 3.

Heard Sri Venkat Reddy Kodumury, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Sri D. Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondentState.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that petitioners are innocent of the said allegations. One Ms. Aishwarya Mudiraj being a friend of petitioners invited them for a get together party and the same was attended by the petitioners along with the son of defacto complainant and there was a galata at the said place, as such police registered the case against the petitioners with political influence. The petitioners are students and if they are arrested, their career will be spoiled. Hence, prayed this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed bail stating that the allegations against the petitioners are serious in nature. The petitioners along with other accused attacked the son of complainant and his friend causing grievous injuries. Hence, petitioners are not entitled for bail and prayed to dismiss this petition.

Having regard to the submissions made by both the counsel and the material placed on record, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioners to surrender before the trial Court and file regular bail applications and on filing of such

- 4 - application, the trial Court is directed to consider the same as early as possible.

With the above direction this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
