Bhukya Prasad, v. The Chairman,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18628 OF 2013 ORDER:
Present Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India came to be filed seeking to declare the inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the case of the petitioners for appointment under landlosers/displaced persons category for the post of Junior Plant Attendant, as illegal and arbitrary. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer and submits that though the petitioners are entitled for appointment as Junior Plant Attendants under landlosers category, the authorities have not provided any job so far.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if any representation is made by the petitioners, the authorities will look into the matter and necessary steps in that regard will be taken. Though the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already made applications, copies of the same are not placed before this Court.
Therefore, the petitioners shall make fresh applications before appropriate authority seeking appointment as Junior Plant Attendant under land losers category pursuant to the notification dated 17.10.2011, in which event, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and necessary orders be passed as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of submission of such applications.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
