THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.1140 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner filed W.P.No.11141 of 2015 complaining inaction on the part of the respondents in disposing of the appeal filed by the second respondent, who is enjoying the benefits under the guise of a false caste certificate though he is otherwise not entitled to. By order dated 17.04.2015, this Court disposed of the said writ petition directing the petitioner to approach the first respondent informing the earlier orders of this Court for compliance. Alleging non‐compliance of the order dated 17.04.2015 the petitioner has filed the present contempt case.

On 22.07.2016 this court issued notice on admission and the respondent has received the said notice on 01.08.2016 and thereafter there was no representation for the respondent. Hence, on 12.09.2016, this court issued notice under Form‐I to the respondent to show cause and thereby, the respondent was present on 14.10.2016. 3.

Today, when the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the Government had passed GO.Ms.No.40 dated 03.11.2016 deciding the appeal filed by the second respondent.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the respondent and inasmuch as the necessary orders have been passed in compliance of the orders of this court, the Contempt Case is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
