This writ petition is filed questioning the impugned letter No.A1/2425/2008, dated 19.02.2009 issued by the 3rd respondent accepting the tender of the 4th respondent while rejecting the tender of the petitioner only on the ground that the petitioner firm has not enclosed the original tender form though the petitioner quoted lowest rate of services and having more eligibility criteria than the 4th respondent, as arbitrary and illegal.

Pending disposal of the writ petition, this Court by order dated 05.03.2009 directed both the parties to maintain status quo. A perusal of the tender notification reveals that the contract is for a period of one year. In other words, the contract itself is expired by 2010. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _____________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J.
