This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents police in not registering the FIR on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 06.01.2020, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 29.01.2020, submits that the petitioner sent a complaint to the 3rd respondent through registered post and the said complaint was received by the 3rd respondent on 25.01.2020. It is further stated that, after receipt of the said complaint, a GD entry was made and enquiry was conducted. After enquiry, a case was registered in Crime No.18 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 448 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC on the file of the 3rd respondent, on 28.01.2020. 4.

Having regard to the aforestated submission, since a case is registered based on the complaint of the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and no further orders need be passed in this writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
