ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for the following relief: "...to issue a Writ, Order, more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein in allotting and insisting the petitioners to perform driver as well as conductor duties with TIM (Ticket issuing Machine) as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to MV Act, 1988 and APSRTC Service Regulations and set aside the same with all consequential benefits and further direct the respondents herein to allot the petitioners duties on conductor service buses and pass such other order or orders in the interest of justice as otherwise the petitioners may suffer irreparable loss and hardship."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court on 26.07.2010, the issue involved in this writ petition has been resolved and that the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
