HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36958 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the 1st respondent to register a case on his complaint dated 7.10.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that respondents Nos.6 and 7 colluded with each other and hatched up a plan to avoid payment due to the father-in-law of the petitioner and threatened to kill. 4.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the averments made in the affidavit, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"The 1st respondent is directed to register the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 7.10.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence, and proceed in accordance with law. If the above respondent fails to register the complaint, the petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedies that are available under law." There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
