HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD F.C.A.No.78 of 2018 JUDGMENT: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait) Vide the present appeal, the appellant-wife has challenged order dated 09.10.2017 passed in FCOP.No.1169 of 2015 on the file of Judge, Family Court, Ranga Reddy District, whereby while granting divorce in the petition filed by the appellant-wife, the trial Court directed the respondent-husband to pay an amount of Rs.30 lakh to the appellantwife towards permanent alimony. The present appeal is filed on the ground that the amount of Rs.30 lakh granted by the trial Court towards permanent alimony is less amount and, keeping in view the resources the respondent-husband is having and as per his status, the amount may be increased from Rs.30 lakh to one crore.

During pendency of the present appeal, the respondent-husband has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.20 lakh in addition to Rs.30 lakh already paid to the appellant-wife towards permanent alimony, with the condition that the appellant-wife shall not challenge this order or ask for any other compensation or maintenance in future. The appellant is personally present in Court and submits that she would neither ask further amount nor make any type of claim against the respondent and has agreed to receive Rs.20 lakh in addition to Rs.30 lakh already granted by the trial Court towards permanent alimony. In view of the above, as agreed by the parties, we hereby direct the respondent-husband to pay an amount of Rs.10 lakh in Account

No.056701508741 maintained in ICICI Bank of Gachibowli Branch, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent-husband shall further pay an amount of Rs.10 lakh within six weeks thereafter in the same account.

With the above directions, the present appeal is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
