THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.642 of 2020 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.4 and A.6 to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.4737 of 2018 on the file of the XI Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad.

A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners and others for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 336 and 420 of I.P.C. and Section 20 (2) of the Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Act, 2013.

Learned counsel for the petitioners/A.1 to AA.4 and A.6 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/State submitted that the issue involved in this petition is squarely covered by the order dated 27.08.2018 of this Court in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch.

In view of the above submission, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of the order dated 27.08.2018 in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch.

Registry is directed to attach a copy of the order dated 27.08.2018 in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch to this order.
