The petitioner is accused in S.C.No.62 of 2018 on the file of the VII Addl.Special Sessions Judge for Trial of Cases under SCs &STs(POA) Act, Warangal, outcome of Cr.No.49 of 2017 of Station House Officer, Cheriyal Police Station registered for offences punishable u/sec.3(1)®(s) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) amended Act, 2015(for short, 'the Act') and u/sec.506 IPC, on the report of the defacto-complainant/2nd respondent.
Both the parties along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.No.4 of 2019 to compromise the matter and compound the offence.
In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.No.4 of 2019 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/Accused in S.C.No.62 of 2018 on the file of the VII Addl.Special Sessions Judge for Trial of Cases under SCs &STs(POA) Act, Warangal. The petitioner/Accused is acquitted and his bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
