O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities and, more particularly, the Inspector of Police, Tiruchanur, and the Station House Officer, Tiruchanur, were interfering with his personal liberty and that of his family members and also in civil matters. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Tiruchanur Police Station, East Sub Division, Tirupati Urban Police District, filed a counter-affidavit denying the contention of the petitioner that the Constables of Tiruchanur Police Station had gone to the house of the petitioner and created a commotion threatening the petitioner and his family members that they would be implicated in false criminal cases unless they vacate the property. The Sub-inspector stated that the petitioner was unnecessarily involving the police in civil litigation and that the police authorities had never interfered with the life, liberty and property of the petitioner and his family members and they never harassed or threatened them at any point of time by calling them to the police station.

The aforestated stand of the police authorities, as put forth by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Tiruchanur, is taken on record. In the light thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition which is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
