THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.1555 OF 2018 ORDER:

The petitioner states that his father purchased an extent of Ac.0.10 gutas of agricultural land situated in Survey No.251 of Kadipikonda Village, Kazipet Mandal, Warangal District, in the year 1978 by paying consideration. He has been in possession and enjoyment of the said land since the date of the purchase. His name was mutated in the revenue records. He died in the year 1991 and the fourth respondent applied to the third respondent for mutation as well as issuance of pattadar passbooks in his favour. The petitioner is not having any knowledge and on enquiry in the year 2017, he came to know about the said fact. In those circumstances, he lodged a complaint to the second respondent on 20.03.2017 and the same was registered as appeal under Section 5-B of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. When the said appeal is not being disposed of and is being adjourned from time to time, the present Writ Petition is filed.

2.

In view of long pendency of the appeal for nearly one year, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed not to grant any adjournment at the instance of the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent shall co-operate for disposal of the appeal pending before the second respondent. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J FEBRUARY 02, 2018 YVL
