This writ petition is filed alleging that the 4th respondent was constructing a building abutting a narrow lane of 5.5 meters width by raising third, fourth and fifth floors unauthorisedly and illegally on the property bearing GHMC No.16-2-866 (H.No.16-2-866/G/1) near R.R. Function Hall, Akbar Bagh, Saidabad, Hyderabad without observing any setbacks.

It is alleged that the petitioner society has made several representations to the Municipal authorities against the illegal constructions undertaken by the 4th respondent, but no action has been taken by the authorities. This writ petition is filed praying to declare the action of the 1st respondent-GHMC in not initiating any action on the representations submitted by the petitioner on 27.1.2019 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to forthwith demolish the unauthorized and illegal structures made by the 4th respondent. 3.

Today, when the matter is taken up, it is represented by Ms.G.Deepa, learned counsel appearing on behalf of GHMC and Ms.B.Shireesha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of 4th respondent that the additional floors constructed by 4th respondent in violation of the sanctioned plan were already demolished.

The above statement made by the learned counsel for respondents is recorded. Since the structures raised unauthorisedly were already demolished, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date: 11.6.2019 DA
