This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief - " To issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not conducting a detailed enquiry and not passing any orders in pursuance of the directions of the 3rd respondent in L.Dis.No.D3-658/05, dt.23.11.2005 and not issuing Caste Certificate to the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and void abinitio and violative of principles of natural justice and due process of law and consequently direct the 1st respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry by giving an opportunity to the petitioner in pursuance of the orders passed by the 3rd respondent dated 23.11.2005 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
When the matter is called today, a letter dated 28.10.2015 addressed by the Tahsildar, Kothagudem to the office of the Government Pleader for Social Welfare has been placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare, wherein it is stated that vide SID No.2217-0000-8016-6203 dt.4.1.2010, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kothagudem has issued Caste Certificate to the petitioner's son i.e. Muttangi Rajeshyam. A copy of the said certificate is also enclosed with the said letter. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
