O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Sub-Registrar, Toopran Village and Mandal, Medak District, is not receiving and registering the document presented by him relating to the agricultural dry land admeasuring Ac.26.141⁄2 guntas in Survey Nos.379, 380, 386, 387/5, 387/7, 387/8, 387/15 and 387/17 of Yavapur Village, Toopran Mandal, Medak District. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that written instructions dated 02.02.2019 were furnished by the Sub-Registrar, Toopran, stating that the petitioner has not yet submitted any document for registration and in the event he does so, necessary action would be taken thereon as per law.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Sub-Registrar, Toopran, Medak District, to receive and process for registration any document presented by the petitioner in relation to the subject land. If the document is found to be in order and in compliance with the requirements of the Registration Act, 1908 (for brevity, 'the Act of 1908'), and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Sub-Registrar shall complete the registration formalities and release the document. If, for any reason, the Sub-Registrar finds that the document cannot be registered, he shall pass an order of refusal under Section 76 of the Act of 1908 and communicate the same to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
