Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

3. The writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.3 in not considering the application, dated 28.09.2015, made by the petitioner seeking voluntary retirement as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct respondent No.3 to accept the same and to pay the retirement and other benefits, as stipulated under Regulation No.6 of A.P.S.R.T.C. Employees (Service) Regulations, 1962.

4. Though the writ petition is filed urging various grounds, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation, dated 28.9.2015, made by the petitioner at the earliest.

5. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent authorities to dispose of the representation, dated 28.09.2015, made by the petitioner seeking voluntary retirement, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

6. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
