Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents.

This writ petition is filed alleging inaction of the respondent-police, in not conducting investigation into the complaint dated 14.01.2019 and consequential complaint dated 24.01.2019 lodged with respondents 3 and 4 respectively. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to filing of writ petition, police intimated the petitioner that what is alleged in the complaint is civil in nature and therefore, they are not inclined to register the crime. 4.

In view of the information furnished to petitioner on the status of complaint filed by him, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. If petitioner is not satisfied with the information furnished refusing to register the crime, it is open to him to work out his remedies as available in law. 5.
