HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.661 of 2012 ORDER:
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondents have issued notification on 23.12.2011 for filling up the post of 'Shramik'. At that point of time, the apprehension of the petitioners was that their applications may not be received by the respondents and in those circumstances they filed the present writ petition. He further submits that this Court was pleased to grant interim direction on 06.01.2012 directing the respondents to receive the applications of the petitioners. Pursuant to the said direction, the petitioners submitted their applications and they have participated in the selection process, but they could not get selected. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No orders as to costs. _______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 28.08.2019.
