This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.56 of 2011, against the petitioner, on the file of the Cyber Crime Police Station, CID, Hyderabad. The offence alleged is under Section 66(A) of the Information Technology Act and Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned Public Prosecutor has produced the final report submitted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime Police Station, CID, Hyderabad in Cr.No.56 of 2011 before the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad requesting the Court to issue orders to close the case as 'Action Dropped'. 3.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J September 14, 2018 DSK
