ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is that though respondent No.6 has dismantled the purported ancient temple and been trying to raise a new structure in its place and a complaint in this regard was given to respondent Nos.2, 3 and 5, the latter have not been taken any action.

I have heard Mr.Gulam Rabbani, learned counsel for the petitioners, and perused the record.

It is not the pleaded case of the petitioners that the purported ancient temple is recognized as such by the competent authority under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religion Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987. No evidence in support of this plea is filed by the petitioners.

Be that as it may, as a representation is stated to have been made to respondent Nos.2, 3 and 5 on 11.12.2015, the said respondents are directed to consider the same and take appropriate action according to law, if they are satisfied that respondent No.6 has removed the temple, which is recognized as ancient temple, under the provisions of the extant statutory enactment and inform their decision to the petitioners.

Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.52997 of 2015 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
