THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.43127 of 2015 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner was to direct the police authorities concerned to transfer F.I.R.No.451 of 2014 from the file of Kadiam Police Station, Rajamundry Urban, to the file of Jadcherla Police Station, Mahaboobnagar District.

The Sub Inspector of Police, Kadiam Police Station furnished written instructions dated 10.02.2016 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that the Superintendent of Police, Rajahmundry Urban Police Station endorsed a letter to the Superintendent of Police, Mahaboobnagar, with a request to transfer Crime No.451 of 2014 which was registered under Sections 342, 354, 498-A and 506 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. and provisions of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, to Jadcherla Police Station, Mahaboobnagar District. Thereafter, proceedings dated 03.02.2016 were issued by the Superintendent of Police, Urban Police District, Rajamahendravaram, addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Mahaboobnagar District, transferring the C.D. file in Crime No.451 of 2014 on the file of Kadiam Police Station on the point of jurisdiction for taking further action.

In the light of the aforestated developments, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
