THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8447 and 8448 of 2017 in/and Criminal Petition No.7980 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7 in Cr.No.101 of 2017 of the P.S. Madannapet, Hyderabad, pending on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable u/ sec. 498-A and 506 r/ w 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and also the learned Public Prosecutor.

The petitioners and the defacto-complainant present and stated that they settled the matter amicably outside the Court to purchase peace and vide Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8447 and 8448 of 2017 sought permission to compound the offences and prayed to quash the proceedings and accordingly permission is granted to compound the offences.

In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.Nos.8447 and 8448 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in Cr.No.101 of 2017 supra against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.7. The petitioners/ accused are acquitted and their bail bonds if any, shall stand cancelled.
