O R D E R

The 1st petitioner is the Managing Committee of Eedgah and the 2nd petitioner is its Secretary. The writ petition has been filed questioning the proceedings of the 1st respondent - Chief Executive Officer, A. P. State Wakf Board dated 12.10.2006, in appointing the 2nd respondent as Muthawalli of Wakf Institution viz. Idgah and Mosque, under Section 42 read with Section 37( c ) of the Wakf Act, 1995.

Though the matter is of the year 2006 and has undergone number of adjournments, there is no representation for the petitioners. The learned Standing Counsel Mr. Shaik Mohammod, appearing for the 1st respondent - Wakf Board submits that the petitioner - committee was constituted vide proceedings of the 1st respondent in C3/KNL/75/2005 dated 5.1.2006 and its term is for two years, which expired long back and hence it has no locus standi to continue to question the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 12.10.2006.

In view of the above submission, this court is of the considered view that nothing remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition at the instance of the petitioner - Committee and the same is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
