O R D E R
The case of the petitioner is that the land owned by him was wrongly entered in the new pattadar pass book issued to him i.e., the extent was shown lesser than the extent owned by him and, therefore, for correction of entries and for issuance of new pass book, he made number of representations to the 4th respondent - Tahsildar and the latest one was made on 16.09.2019. As no action has been taken, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner for correction of entries with regard to extent of the land, and take action in accordance with law for issuance of fresh pass book, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
