HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.2109 of 2019 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the issue raised in this writ petition was already adjudicated and decided by this Court in W.P.No.1603 of 2019 dated 30.01.2019 and contends that the case of the petitioner be considered for promotion to the post of Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257 dated 10.06.1999. Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents has not disputed the submission made by the learned counsel for petitioner.

Having considered the submissions made by both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257 dated 10.06.1999 and pass appropriate orders in the ensuing DPC meeting.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
