Ankamgari Satyanarayana Goud v. The State Of Telangana
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.1685 of 2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) for the respondents 1 to 3 and Smt.G.Uma Rani, learned counsel for the fourth respondent.
When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 22.01.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Meerpet Police Station, Hyderabad, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. The said instructions read as under:
"It is submitted that on 01.10.2017 the respondent police received complaint from one Ankammagari Swatha w/o Hari Krishna-4th respondent stating that when she went her mother's house at Lingampally on the occasion of Dussehra she received phone call from her uncle I which he stated that he husband A.Hari Krishna goud committed suicide by hanging to ceiling fan at his residence. Immediately she rushed Osmania Hospital and requested to conduct fair enquiry and take necessary action.
Basing on the same a case in Cr.No.515/2017 registered for the offences U/Sec.174 Cr.P.C. at Meerpet Police Station and investigating into. During the course of investigation 3 witnesses were examined and recorded their statements. The investigation is still going on.
The respondent police never calling the petitioner to the police station and they never forced him to pay the amounts as demanded by the 4th respondent is false
and baseless and denied. The police never demanded the petitioner for any money. The police never obtained petitioners signature on the empty blank papers as alleged by him, hence the same are denied. The respondent police never demanding the petitioner to pay Rs.50 lakhs colluded with the 4th respondent as alleged by the petitioner, hence the same are denied. The respondent police never threatened the petitioner to meet their demands they also never harassed the petitioner and their family members as alleged by the petitioner, hence the total allegations against the police are false and baseless and denied.
The respondent police shall abide the directions if any passed by this Hon'ble Court".
Eventually a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to place the above written instructions on record and dispose of the Writ Petition.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the above written instructions. It is made clear that the respondent-police are entitled to proceed in accordance with law. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________ A.V.SESHA SAI 30th January, 2018.
