Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to issue any writ order or direction particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the impugned proceedings No. P18/IV/M1169/FP-85/2001-12/1035 dated -Nil- communicated to the petitioner by the second respondent vide letter Dis. No. 328 dated 20-04-2002 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the rules governing the sanction of family pension and consequently by nullifying the same direct the third respondent herein to sanction the family pension with effect from 19-07-1988 in terms of G.O.Ms. No. 22 dated 16-01-1971.
