ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not appointing the petitioner as Conductor under Bread Winner Scheme as per the orders of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.14645/1997 dt.09.09.1997 and modified orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.3317/1998 dt.26.09.2001 as illegal, arbitrary, consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Conductor under Bread Winner Scheme as per the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.3317/1998 dt.26.09.2001 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper." At the hearing, Sri Basheer Ahmed, learned counsel representing Sri S.A.K.Mynoddin, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.

The writ petition is accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of main petition, WPMP.No.9617 of 2012 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
