HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No. 2072 of 2020 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondents 2 and 3 in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2019 and 17.07.2019 for issuance of pattadar pass book and Rythubandhu amount.

The only grievance of the petitioner is that he is the owner and possessor of the agricultural land admeasuring Ac.01.07 guntas in Sy.No.169, situated at Siripuram Revenue, Mantani Mandal, Karimnagar District; that he is also having old pattedar passbooks and title deed issued by the revenue authorities; and that his name was also continuing in the pahanis as owner and possessor of the said land. While so, the Government of Telangana issued new pattadar pass books and Rythubandhu cheques to the farmers. But, the petitioner was not issued new pattadar pass book and Rythubandhu cheque. As such, he made representations on 22.06.2019 and 17.07.2019 to 3rd respondent, but, till date the respondent authorities have not taken any action. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that in some cases land owners are selling lands and filing applications for grant of pattadar pass books to the extent of land which is already sold.

The aforesaid submission is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Since the application of the petitioner is stated to be pending before the 3rd respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the applications of the petitioner dt.22.06.2019 and 17.07.20192019 excluding the land sold by the petitioner, if any, and take action after issuing notice to the petitioner and other effected parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
