THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 13714 of 2015 ORDER:

Aggrieved by the action of the 4th respondent in not including the names of petitioners in the list for assignment of house site, this writ petition is filed.

2. Briefly, the case of the petitioners is that they are residents of Nagaraju palli village of Martur mandal, Prakasam district and are landless poor belonging to Scheduled Caste community. On coming to know that the respondent authorities are issuing house site pattas in Survey Nos.221 and 222 of Nagarajupalli village, they submitted application for assignment of house sites. It is alleged that the 4th respondent has finalised a list of beneficiaries in which the names of the petitioners were not figuring and some ineligible candidates were also included in the list. The petitioners submitted another representation on 20.04.2015 and 27.04.2015 to respondents 2 and 3 seeking inclusion of their names by deleting the names of ineligible candidates, but no action is taken on their representations and the 4th respondent is proceeding further with the assignment of house sites.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

4. Having considered rival contentions, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners on 20.04.2015 and 27.04.2015, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
