The petitioners, who are A.18 and A.19, preferred the present Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.), seeking to reduce the surety amount in respect of condition No.1 of the order dated 11.08.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.997 of 2016 by the Special Judge for Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act-cumPrincipal District and Sessions Judge, West Godavari at Eluru in connection with Crime No.163 of 2013 of Eluru II Town Police Station, now under CID, Rajahmundry.

Vide Order dated 11.08.2016, the petitioners were granted bail by the learned Special Judge for Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act-cum-Principal District and Sessions Judge, West Godavari at Eluru, on a condition of their executing bonds for Rs.2,00,000/- with two solvent sureties for a like sum each with personal bonds in the form of bank guarantee. Learned Sessions Judge also imposed certain other conditions on the petitioners. However, feeling aggrieved by the said order to the extent of directing the petitioners to furnish bonds for Rs.2,00,000/- with two solvent sureties for a like sum each with personal bonds in the form of bank guarantee, the present petition is preferred.

Having regard to the order passed by this Court earlier, the petitioners are directed to furnish two sureties for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) instead of bank guarantee of Rs.2,00,000/- as directed by the Court below. Further, out of two sureties, one surety must be a local surety. It is made clear that the impugned order is modified only to this extent and the other conditions stipulated in the impugned order shall remain unaltered. 5.
