The Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority Darulshifa, v. The State Of Telangana
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WP No.1781 OF 2018 O R D E R :
This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the award dt.10.08.1998 in I.D.No.1 of 1996 of the 2nd respondent and consequential order dt.20.12.2012 in MP.No.12 of 2012 passed by the 2nd respondent.
2.
It is pertinent to note that the petitioner had earlier filed W.P.No.15973 of 2013 before this Court only challenging the order dt.20.12.2012 in MP.No.12 of 2012 and withdrew the said Writ Petition on 12.07.2016 with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition. 3.
No valid reason is given in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, why the petitioner, a government entity, did not challenge the award passed on 10.08.1998 till date. 4.
In the absence of any explanation for the abnormal latches on the part of the petitioner of 20 years in questioning the award, I see no reason to entertain the Writ Petition.
5.
Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed at admission stage. No order as to costs.
6.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
