When the case was posted on 19.06.2018, learned counsel for the appellant was absent and there was no representation. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal' on 21.06.2018. Today also, though the matter is posted under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation for the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the Appeal. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed for default/non-prosecution. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
