THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION NO.18214 of 2009 Between:
S. Ganeswara Rao PETITIONER AND
1. The Government of A.P. rep. by its Secretary Cooperation Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad and others. RESPONDENTS
ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A.V. Seshagiri Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent. This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not posting the petitioner as Special Category Assistant in the 3rd respondent DCC Bank by taking back his services from 6th respondent society in terms of G.O.Ms.No.67, dated 20.02.2009.
This Court while issuing Rule Nisi on 13.10.2009 granted interim direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.03.2009 submitted by the petitioner. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case of the petitioner has been considered by the respondents by absorbing him into DCC Bank, and thereafter, he had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. In that view of the matter, no relief as such need be grated in this writ petition. It is also submitted by both the learned counsel that a batch of writ petitions came to be filed before this Court in which, interim orders were also passed directing the respondents therein to consider their cases in terms of G.O.Ms.No.67, dated 20.02.2009. In view of the same, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
