When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner.

It is noticed that the petitioner is challenging I.D.No.70 of 2001 passed by the Industrial Tribunal wherein no relief was granted to the petitioner. It is further noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and the petitioner is seeking reinstatement into service in the Writ Petition. The relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this point of time. However, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pay service benefits for the service rendered by the petitioner for the period rendered prior to removal, if not already paid within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 3.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 4.
