Ms. C. Avani Reddy, learned counsel representing Mr. O. Manoher Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the grievance of the petitioner in this case stands settled as the offence was thereafter compounded by the excise authorities. Learned Assistant Government Pleader confirmed the same and produced a copy of the proceedings dated 27.01.2016 issued by the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, compounding the offence.
