ORDER

On 25.08.2015, this Court in WPMP No.35106 of 2015 in WP No.27049 of 2015, directed the 2nd respondentUniversity to conduct viva-voce and process the thesis submitted by the petitioner for the purpose of evaluation by the subject experts in accordance with law.

After receipt of the said order, the respondentUniversity passed an order on 11.5.2016 stating that t h e M.Phil degree pursued by the petitioner from Vinayaka Mission is not valid because the Institution does not have UGC recognition. In view of the same, the University has not accepted the Vinayaka Mission M.Phil Degree.

In the circumstances, it cannot be said that the interim order passed by this Court is violated attracting contempt proceedings.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
