This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused No.8 in Crime No.460 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Malkajgiri Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 418, 420, 406, 506 and 120(B) of IPC. 2.

At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner and the second respondent have settled the matter before the Lok Adalat on 16.1.2017. In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the subject matter of the criminal petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
