This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is A1, in Crime No.58 of 2017 on the file of Pedanandipadu Police Station, Guntur District. The offences alleged are under Sections 376, 420, 419, 506, 509 r/ w 34 IPC. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a government servant and if he is arrested he would lose his job. 4.

Learned Public Prosecutor brings to the notice of this Court that earlier, this petitioner has filed an application seeking for anticipatory bail in Crl.P.No.11494 of 2017 and the same was dismissed by this Court.

A perusal of the order shows that the case was dismissed by considering the merits of the case.

Hence, in the light of the said fact, this petition is not maintainable.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below.

The court below shall dispose of the bail application, if any filed,

expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
