THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.167 of 2019 ORDER:

The respondent is present in person.

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 02.01.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.No.46385 of 2018. By the said order, this Court directed the Revenue Divisional Officer-cum-Inams Tribunal, Malkajgiri Division, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, State of Telangana, to give effect to and implement the order dated 06.02.2008 passed by the Joint Collector-I, Ranga Reddy District, by duly issuing Occupancy Rights Certificates to the petitioners in terms of the Memorandum of Terms of Compromise dated 20.07.2017 which was taken on record in C.R.P.No.991 of 2017.

The said order was duly complied with by the Revenue Divisional Officer-cum-Inams Tribunal, Malkajgiri Division, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, by issuing proceeding dated 26.02.2019. Though there appears to be some amount of delay, there is no evidence of any willful or deliberate delay on the part of the respondent warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction by this Court.

The contempt case is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs. _______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J Date:19.07.2019 PGS
