ORDER :

The police have registered a crime against the petitioners on the allegation of transporting the sand illegally. The petitioners have an effective remedy for release of the vehicle by filing appropriate applications before the competent court having the jurisdiction.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is dismissed, with liberty to avail the remedy as available under law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
